| Sermon Summary by Jerince Peter |

The final week of Jesus’ life is not just history—it’s the center of the Gospel story. The writers slow down and focus intensely on these days, reminding us:

If we miss this week, we miss the message.

But this is more than something to remember.

It’s something to experience.

Because what happened then…

is what happens when Jesus enters our lives.

We welcome Him, like the crowd did on Palm Sunday.

But often, we want Him on our terms.

Jesus doesn’t force entry—He knocks.

But when He enters, He doesn’t stay silent.

He cleanses.

He corrects.

He transforms.

Then He looks for fruit—not activity, not appearance, but real change.

And this is where we struggle.

Like the people in that week, we begin to resist.

Sometimes not openly—but quietly, through compromise and delay.

Yet Jesus still invites.

He serves.

He draws us close.

He calls us into relationship.

And finally, He goes to the cross—

not as a victim, but to complete the work of salvation.

“It is finished.”

So this is the question:

Not what Jesus did then…

but what He is doing in your life now.

Will you let Him in—fully?
